Design, Size, and Weight
The saw’s max speed of 4,600 rpm and 15-amp motor make short work of 4x4s, weighing in at 51.15 pounds.
Cutting through hard and soft woods is a breeze with the 10-inch blade, and the 25-by-24-inch table provides ample space for rip-cutting up to 25.5 inches of material towards the right side of the saw blade and up to 14 inches towards the left.
The rack-and-pinion design of the fence rails allows for an effortless extension when making long cuts. The bevel can be set anywhere from 0 to 45 degrees, and dado cuts can be performed with the right blade and throat combination.

The 24-toothed stock blade Skil provides is included. It works well enough to produce rough cuts you intend to smooth down later. That helps you make quicker cuts, which is a plus.
But, for regular cutting, our experts advise a 40-tooth blade, while more significant tooth counts are recommended for a flawless finish straight from the saw.
This blade is attached to the arbor, which has a diameter of 5/8 inches, which is standard in all American stationary saws.
Fence
Rack and pinion rails on the fence keep it perpendicular to the blade, allowing precise cuts. It’s also possible to fine-tune the blade’s angle to remain perpendicular to the rip fence and the miter slot.
The rack and pinion fence is standard on many modern table saws, and for a good reason. They require significantly less effort to remain square and fine-tune than conventional slides.
Performance and Accuracy
When we worked with the saw and made cuts, we remembered it was a different high-end professional model than the Skilsaw we had previously used.
If you check the table saw’s accuracy, you can see that the end of the surface varied by around 1/32 inch.
However, it’s far enough away from messing with the finishing cuts and should be fine when cutting metal or plastic sheeting.
As a bonus for this stage, precise cutting will be the best feature. The engine has confidence in both sheet products and 2x material.
Professional saws are much more powerful, but we felt confident in the steadiness and smoothness of the cuts.
After upgrading to a 40T, the finish quality was greatly enhanced, and there was almost no noise. When using a saw, it’s better to stand back and let the blade and motor do the heavy lifting.
Dado Stacks
If you need a broader kerf than a standard table saw blade can cut, consider using a dado stack, which consists of one or more blades you can stack.
This table saw can cut dado stacks. You can utilize a dado stack of 5/8 inches or less; and need the proper table insert (throat plate).
Extra Features
The built-in stand is one of the most notable features of the Skil TS6307 10-inch worksite table saw. The legs fold in instead of coming off a separate stand. They were simple enough for one person to fold up and lock into place.
The saw’s locking mechanism and construction make it feel considerably more sturdy than other DIY or Prosumer table saws.[1] Metal parts were used, whereas others used plastic, giving it a more premium feel than the competitors.

Zero-Clearance Insert for the Skil TS6307-00
