Woodworkers are prone to say, “I need more clamps.” Truly, there’s no such thing as having enough. But just what sort of clamps? These, right here. The most common woodworking clamp is the F-Frame Clamp, due to a combination of its ease of use, low cost, and the clamping pressure that it can apply.
These clamps can provide approximately 500 lbs. of pressure, much more than the 250 lbs. that glue manufacturers recommend. They’re also easy to use, with a quick adjustment up to the edge of the board, before applying pressure with the rotating handle.
We offer three sizes of F-Frame clamps. While you could use just the larger ones for everything, they are rather difficult to work with on smaller projects. All have rubber-coated handles for sure grip and rubber pads for the contact surfaces, to protect the wood. These clamps are self-standing, making it easy to use them for edge glued panels.

I-Beam Reinforced Rail

Highlights:
-
Strong Clamping Force
Delivers up to 500 lbs. of pressure—twice what most glue-ups need—for secure, reliable holds.
-
Non-Marring Pads
Rubber contact pads protect your project surfaces from dents, scratches, and clamp marks.
-
Rubber Grip Handle
Ergonomic, rubber-coated handle gives you better control and comfort when tightening.
-
Reinforced I-Beam Rail
Heavy-duty steel I-beam design with serrated edges ensures strength and prevents slippage.
-
Quick-Adjust Arm
Slide the clamp head into position fast, then fine-tune pressure with the rotating handle.
-
Self-Standing Design
Stays upright on the bench—ideal for edge gluing boards without the usual balancing act.
Uses & Features
-
I-Beam Rail
The solid I-beam rail resists flexing under pressure, delivering reliable strength even on larger glue-ups.
-
Rubberized Handles
Comfortable, slip-resistant handles make it easy to tighten or release clamps without straining your hand.
-
Self-Supporting
Castings have molded-in “feet,” allowing
the clamps to stand without additional support -
Serrated Edge
The rail’s serrated edge locks securely into place, preventing slippage during clamping and keeping your work stable.
-
Edge Gluing
F-Frame Clamps are ideal for edge gluing boards together—strong, stable, and easy to position for a seamless joint.
-
