Reviews of the Top Mini Table Saws

1. DEWALT DWE7485 Mini Table Saw

Although the DeWalt DWE7485 mini table saw doesn’t have a large table like full-sized models, it has a powerful motor that runs at 15 amps with a 5800 RPM maximum speed range. These tool specifications compensate for its compact construction and signify the unit’s suitability for the professional market.

Its value was proven even further by its rack and pinion fence. This feature allowed me to make rapid adjustments without compromising on accuracy and the quality of the cut.

With a 24.5-inch ripping capacity, this machine proved ideal for handling materials like 4×8 plywood boards and OSB sheets. It’s also my go-to when I need to cut metal pieces.

2. Rockwell RK7323 Portable Mini Table Saw

Another high-quality option in the market is Rockwell RK7323 Mini Table Saw. It’s not as powerful as the previous option, but its guard and riving knife functions give the model the versatility to perform cross-cuts and angled cuts.

Upon closely inspecting the machine, you’ll notice it’s outfitted with a high-speed steel blade. Such a component is durable enough to handle materials like wood logs, metals, plastics, or ceramics.

This model also boasts an adjustable miter gauge, which can be set anywhere from 0 to 60 degrees. It’s been incredibly useful when I’m juggling multiple small projects.

3. CNCEST 4-Inch Mini Table Saw

As CNCEST 4-Inch Mini Table Saw’s cutting depth measures around ⅝-inch, it’s a great machine for picture frames and plastic projects. This mini table saw model is engineered with a miter gauge and scale plate, so precision is the least of your problems.

Despite costing less money, this model operates with fewer vibrations[1] and noise when running at top speed. If you ask me, it’s highly owed to its shockproof rubberized pads.

Unlike typical mini table saws, this unit comes with three blades upon purchase. Because of this, you can rely on this model to cut plastic, copper, stainless steel, tiles, aluminum, and even glass pieces.

4. Huanyu Mini Table Saw

Another model that will give you a run for your money is Huanyu Mini Table Saw. I was particularly impressed by its ability to adjust its speed control across seven different levels. This ensures that the power supply can adapt to the specific needs of various projects.

It could save you time by ensuring its accuracy through miter gauges and laser scale plates. The saw also has a great combination of steel frame structure and thickened aluminum alloy, allowing it to deliver smooth cutting quality.

Although it’s a small table saw model, its 300W power range and 9000 RPM speed are professional features not typical for other options of the same class.

5. Worx WX572L Portable Electric Table Top Saw

Using a table saw can be hard to pull off for beginners, so buying units like the ones from Worx with a 5.5 amp motor and 3000 RPM should be less overwhelming. Despite lower specifications, you can rely on it to get the job done.

Along with its space-saving design, I liked this mini table saw for its ability to produce smooth cross and rip cuts. It’s a versatile power saw.

For a typical table saw newbie, the tool-free adjustments of Worx WX572L are a lifesaver. The assembly is also not that complicated, but if you’re having problems, I suggest referring to its manual.

Mini Table Saws Buyer’s Guide

Design and Size

Like it or not, smaller table saw models come with certain limitations. And on top of that list is the projects you can take on.

These table saw options come in different designs and build, which will determine if they can withstand the project requirements you need.

Cutting Capacity

Besides the overall size, the cut capacity specification can hinder your tool’s ability to handle a specific project. Although some models can swap saw attachments to handle non-ferrous metals and plastics, the blade depth determines how deep the saw can go.

Most models in this category typically offer depth capacities of less than an inch. However, there are those rare gems with higher capacities. From my experience, I’d advise opting for a saw with a greater cut capacity.

Power

It’s evident that smaller models don’t stand a chance against the power that full-sized table saws can produce. However, this doesn’t mean that these units aren’t capable of handling regular table saw tasks effectively.

If you hope to have the best mini table saw, I urge you to buy a machine with at least a 5.5 amp motor. By doing this, you can expect the tool to finish tasks faster than those with lower power specifications.

Speaking of power, you might want to consider the Skil TS6307-00 for more precise cuts.

Speed

Not every project demands rapid operation, but it’s beneficial to have tools capable of reaching at least 3000 RPM. A table saw at that speed not only saves time but also ensures greater precision.

I’ve come across models boasting up to 9000 RPM, which is notably high for a compact table saw. If possible, I’d suggest opting for those with variable speed, giving you greater control over your tool’s pace.

Miter Gauge

You can also tell if the table saw is versatile if it has an onboard miter saw. If it can push through 60 degrees, it’s an indication that it can handle various applications. This feature also ensures that the cut stays accurate.

Additional Features

The unit’s ripping fence must be light enough, or you’ll have difficulty moving it around during usage. In addition to that, don’t forget that models with rubberized feet or bases are more stable and safer to use because they reduce vibrations.

It’s also crucial to check if the power saw has a guard, as this would prevent potential mishaps and injuries. If your unit already has it, ensure that it can be adjusted easily and halt the operations swiftly.
